Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in banquet management at a major property.

• Extensive knowledge about all health and safety regulations.
• Must have a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the banquet.
• Lead recruitment and training of teams.
• Oversee banquet space, equipment, and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with staff on food, equipment, and room setups.
• Maintain inventory and manage vendor and client relations.
• Attend pre-event and post-event meetings with clients and catering teams.
• Ensure operating procedures are followed and issues resolved promptly.
• Partner with banquet chef on food presentation and timing.
