Embassy Suites - Louisville - Downtown in Louisville, KY is seeking a Banquet Houseman responsible for proper setup and maintenance of event spaces in a prompt, courteous manner per hotel specifications and group requirements. Greet guests, service food and beverages, and coordinate with event orders to ensure flawless execution.

Requires readiness to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends; at least 1 year in banquets or convention services is preferred, with a valid Food Worker

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18+ (21+ to serve alcohol).
• 1 year banquet or convention services experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and etiquette.
• Valid Food Worker Card required.
• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for extended periods.
• Willingness to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights and weekends.

• Greet guests and review banquet event orders for setup.
• Serve all food and beverage items per function requirements.
• Time service to guests' pace.
• Upsell food and beverage breaks and AV equipment to increase revenue.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas and equipment.
