Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Banquet Manager in Seattle to lead banquet operations, schedule events, and coordinate staff to ensure flawless guest experiences.

The role oversees banquet setup, inventory control, and collaboration with Sales to plan future events; requires 4+ years in banquet or event management and strong leadership. This is a full-time, seasonal position reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage, with a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of banquet/event management with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to train staff.
• Ability to interpret financial information, manage budgets, and prepare reports.
• Knowledge of banquet setups, service standards, and health/safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities for multiple events.
• Proficiency in event management software and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule banquets, parties, and events and coordinate resources.
• Oversee banquet staff, including hiring, training and evaluation.
• Ensure timely setup of function rooms per event specs.
• Maintain inventory levels of banquet supplies and report needs.
• Collaborate with Sales to forecast workload and business needs.
• Provide high-quality service and resolve issues during events.
• Ensure proper equipment cleaning and maintenance after events.
