Job summary

Bars & Recreation in Milwaukee, WI, seeks a Senior Catering & Event Captain to lead onsite and offsite events. You will coordinate with Sales and Culinary teams, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while transporting equipment between locations.

Starting base rate is $13.00–$14.50/hour with a share of the bi-weekly tip pool; gross rate after tips is $24–$30/hour. Requires 3+ years in hospitality or catering leadership, valid driver’s license, and ability to work flexible

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of hospitality, banquet, catering, or event operations experience.
• Prior Banquet Captain or catering leadership preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite and offsite catered events as Banquet Captain.
• Coordinate event timelines with Sales, Culinary, Operations teams.
• Transport catering equipment and supplies between locations.
• Supervise crew members during events and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist with setup, service, and teardown of events.
• Maintain equipment and inventory control after each event.
