Job summary

East West Bank is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support Loan and Trade Operations with data analytics, process improvements, and system enhancements. You will manage medium-to-large projects, document business requirements, and coordinate with IT and vendors to deliver solutions.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, 5-7 years in banking, and proficiency in Excel and SQL, plus experience in data reporting, training, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in finance, business, engineering, science, or related field.
• 5–7 years experience in banking, preferably commercial and mortgage lending.
• Experience with process automation design and implementation.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis and generate ad hoc management reports for loan and trade operations.
• Serve as liaison between end users and IT/ vendors to design analytical and technical solutions for medium-to-large projects.
• Develop processes to improve efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Write business requirements for system-related projects and collaborate with IT/vendors to ensure successful delivery.
• Design and execute user acceptance testing to validate system functionality.
• Manage project implementation and provide training to end users on new systems.
