Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in banking/financial services with compliance, lending/credit, audit or risk management.
• Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) is preferred.
• Active membership in professional associations is preferred.
• Proficient in communicating with regulators and presenting reports.

Responsibilities

• Performs compliance testing to ascertain regulatory/policy conformity.
• Identifies control weaknesses and root causes; supports corrective action.
• Communicates findings and develops remediation plans with business units.
• Monitors remediation progress and escalates overdue items.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; attends external trainings as needed.
• Assists with compliance for mergers and acquisitions.
• Collaborates with departments to address compliance issues.
