Job summary

State Street is seeking a Bank Loans Settlements Specialist, Senior Associate to support the Trade Operations team responsible for middle office services for a major client. You will manage the full lifecycle of bank loan trades, ensure timely settlement, and provide client reporting and risk insights.

The role emphasizes accuracy, proactive communication with clients and counterparties, and contributing to process improvements and control enhancements within a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• 4+ years in investment operations with bank loan processing or settlements.
• Experience with LSTA/LMA conventions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process full lifecycle of bank loan trades including trade capture, confirmation, funding, settlement, and post-settlement follow-up.
• Coordinate timely settlement of par and distressed bank loan trades with client, counterparties, agents, custodians, and internal teams.
• Maintain complete and accurate trade status commentary and provide updates through client reporting.
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks, cash and position discrepancies, aged items, and failed settlements.
• Prepare daily production metrics, aged-trade analysis, risk indicators, and client reporting.
