Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION is seeking a Bank Loans Settlements Specialist, Senior Associate to manage the full lifecycle of bank loan trades, including capture, confirmation, funding, settlement, and post-settlement follow-up. You will coordinate with clients, counterparties, and internal teams to ensure timely settlements and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of investment operations experience with hands-on bank loan trade processing or settlements.
• Working knowledge of LSTA/LMA par and distressed loan processing and market conventions.

Responsibilities

• Process the full lifecycle of bank loan trades: capture, confirmation, funding, settlement, and post-settlement follow-up.
• Coordinate timely settlement of par and distressed bank loan trades with the client, counterparties, agents, custodians, and internal teams.
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks, cash and position discrepancies, aged items, and failed settlements.
• Prepare daily production metrics, aged-trade analysis, risk indicators, and client reporting.
