Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise backup solutions using Commvault and NetBackup.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot backup jobs, schedules, and policies.
• Perform regular backup validation, restore testing, and DR drills.
• Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams for coverage and SLAs.
• Manage backup storage capacity, retention policies, and tape library operations.
• Implement and maintain backup reporting and alerting mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with data protection policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide L3+ support for backup-related incidents and service requests.
