Confero is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer, Python, to build and evolve the core platform services behind our data access intelligence engine. You will own the technical direction and architecture of a multi-tenant SaaS platform processing millions of files daily.

You will develop Python services, design scalable pipelines, optimize PostgreSQL, implement secure APIs, and collaborate across teams to ensure performance, reliability, and clean code.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Python backend development.
• Strong PostgreSQL and database optimization skills.
• Experience with messaging tools such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pub/Sub.
• Strong REST API and asynchronous development experience.
• Experience with multi-tenant architectures and data isolation.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong testing skills, including pytest.

Senior Backend Software Engineer, Python

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to build and evolve the core platform services behind our data access intelligence engine. In this high-impact role, you will take significant ownership of the technical direction and architecture of a multi-tenant SaaS platform that processes millions of files and events every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Engineering: Build and maintain Python services for data discovery and processing.
• Data Processing: Develop scalable pipelines for file ingestion and content extraction.
• Database Engineering: Design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data isolation.
• API Development: Develop and maintain APIs for internal and external integrations.

Required Experience and Skills

• Background in security, privacy, or compliance products.
