Clay is seeking a Software Engineer to join one of our Infrastructure or Platform teams, working on the systems every Clay product relies on—execution at scale, concurrency handling, data storage, and low latency foundations.

You will help shape the platform, set direction, and collaborate with product teams to ensure the foundations empower rapid, safe shipping across the business. This role spans our NYC/SF engineering presence and agile practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on engineering building production systems at scale.
• Experience aligning platform work with product needs.
• Strong communicator and cross-team collaborator.

Responsibilities

• Scale, reliability, and performance targets as load grows.
• Define primitives and extension points for shared infrastructure.
• Own execution and orchestration across products.
• Make the system legible with instrumentation and tracing.
