GRVTY is seeking an experienced backend Java developer for a position likely based in Fort Meade. You will leverage Java/JVM, REST APIs, Spring/Spring Boot, and Hibernate to design and implement scalable services.

The role emphasizes distributed systems, API design, CI/CD, automated tests, and strong collaboration within agile teams. DevOps experience with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, or Kubernetes is valued, along with a proven ability to support fast-paced federal contract solutions.

Formación

• 7+ years of backend Java development (14+ years overall) in a team setting.
• Strong Java/JVM, REST APIs, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL databases.
• Experience with Git, Linux/Unix, and Agile team practices including code reviews.
• Backend architecture, distributed systems, API design, CI/CD, automated testing, and TDD.
• DevOps experience with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes or scripting.
• Experience supporting fast-paced client solutions and focus on growth.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
