Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking an experienced backend software engineer to design, develop and maintain digital banking backend services. You will work in an agile team delivering reliable, scalable solutions and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical design.

You should have strong Java 21+ experience, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and knowledge of databases like Oracle DB or DB2. English communication skills are essential for global collaboration and delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in backend development using Java 21+ and REST APIs.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot 3.4, Spring WebFlux and Hibernate.
• Practical knowledge of Oracle DB, DB2 and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven and Jenkins.
• Practical experience in working with Splunk.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles.
• Proven experience in test automation, including unit, integration, API and performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber and WireMock.
• Proven experience in driving backend testing activities within an agile team.
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and contribute to solution design.
• Experience in using AI-powered tools in software development and testing.
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
