Job summary

Deutsche Bank Global Technology seeks an Associate in Cary, NC to review application requirements and interface designs and to design and develop backend services using Java and Spring.

You will build RESTful microservices with secure authentication (OAuth2/OIDC), implement robust data access with JDBC, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for deterministic builds in a high-throughput environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 2 years of experience optimizing concurrent workflows with Streams, Lambdas, CompletableFuture, and parallel streams.
• Experience with RESTful microservices, OAuth2/OIDC security, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of JDBC, stored procedures, batch processing, and ORM/JPA tuning.

Responsibilities

• Review application requirements and interface designs.
• Estimate, design, and develop backend services using Java and Spring.
• Build scalable RESTful microservices with proper error handling and DTO mapping.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using Spring Security with OAuth2/OIDC.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines and optimize persistence with Maven/Gradle and ORM tuning.
