Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of enterprise software development experience with hands-on Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong production support expertise and experience maintaining business-critical applications in hosted environments.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical decisions and problem-solving approaches clearly.
• Willingness to participate in periodic on-call rotation.
• Ability to work onsite in Phoenix on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance large-scale, business-critical applications in hosted production environments.
• Support a mature, integration-heavy platform consisting of approximately 100 applications with integrations across 44 internal client systems.
• Resolve complex production issues and participate in on-call rotation to provide Level 1 production support.
• Collaborate with experienced team members on platform-specific development and enhancement work.
• Design and implement solutions within a highly regulated environment governed by DOT, Canadian, GDPR, and other compliance requirements.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly and collaborate across multiple teams to support platform reliability and stability.
