Ideal candidates understand concurrency and distributed systems, can deliver simple, maintainable solutions, and will work on site in New York City or San Francisco. We value craft, accuracy, and patient-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• You’ve built and operated production backend systems at scale.
• Strong understanding of concurrency and distributed systems.

Responsabilités

• Design high-throughput services that handle concurrent conversations at scale.
• Own a core platform service from design to production.
• Build systems that stay available and degrade gracefully when things fail.
• Handle sensitive healthcare data with care and compliance.
• Improve performance, observability, and operational health across services.
• Shape architectural decisions as the platform grows.
