Job summary

Eightfold's Analytics Product Engineering team builds the native reporting experiences that turn raw data into actionable insights. We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Backend-Heavy) who thrives on backend systems but is comfortable across the stack when needed.

You will design and maintain backend services and APIs powering dashboards, ensure data correctness, and optimize performance for large analytics datasets, collaborating closely with product and design.

Qualifications

• Backend APIs, services, and data modeling at scale.
• Experience with analytics or data-heavy products is a plus.
• Familiarity with performance optimization and large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and APIs powering native reporting dashboards, including row-level security (RLS).
• Ship full stack features end-to-end for the analytics interface, including RLS handling.
• Maintain the full stack for Adhoc reports.
• Partner with product and design to translate analytics requirements into reliable features.
• Own performance, scalability, and data correctness for reporting systems handling large analytics data volumes.
