Job summary

Eightfold is hiring a Data Platform Engineer to design and scale the data lifecycle, from ingestion and normalization to archival and analytics, supporting millions of users and a fast-growing platform.

You will build data integrations and REST API endpoints, deploy on AWS, and work with Mysql, Solr, Redshift, DynamoDB, S3 and Redis. This role is hybrid, with on-site days at Santa Clara.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product development.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems.
• (Bonus) Previous experience working on data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build data integrations and frameworks to ensure data quality/integration efficiency.
• Solve complex and technically challenging problems on a large scale.
• Build REST API endpoints and also consume external REST endpoints.
• Build our application stack on AWS. Our platform is used by millions of users and processes terabytes of data and our team supports a multitude of services that leverage this data.
• Learn about data storage systems like Mysql, Solr, Redshift, DynamoDB, S3, Redis.
