Job summary

Hudson Talent Solutions is seeking a technical lead for Noetica, Thomson Reuters’ AI-powered deal intelligence platform. You will drive end-to-end product delivery, design scalable backend-leaning systems, and own APIs and documentation.

Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to ensure sound foundations, observability, and efficient engineering. Hybrid work across NYC metro and nearby hubs, with emphasis on scalable backend systems and modern tech stacks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong backend fundamentals: APIs, data modeling, distributed systems, cloud.
• Clear, confident communication with technical teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend-leaning full-stack services from design to production.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and API contracts for integrations.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL data stores, data modeling for scale and analytics.
• Containerize and deploy services with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS or GCP.
• Contribute to React and TypeScript frontend with design teams.
• Design event-driven, distributed systems using microservices and queues.
• Own CI/CD, testing, and observability to keep delivery fast and reliable.
• Collaborate with product and design to set technical direction and priorities.
