Job summary

Rippling, a global HR, IT, and Finance platform, seeks an experienced software engineer to build and ship scalable backend and frontend features. You will work across the stack with PMs and designers to translate complex requirements into high-quality code.

You will join The HR Product Team, delivering core HRIS, Time, Benefits, and Talent solutions while focusing on design, usability, and reliable, scalable systems at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience with Python/Django.
• Frontend experience with React or TypeScript.
• Experience at scale in complex technical/organizational environments.
• Strong product intuition and user-focused design sense.
• Experience shipping complex projects.
• CS fundamentals and algorithms.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend capabilities and user-facing features across the stack.
• Collaborate with PMs and designers to translate requirements into code.
• Make quick, informed decisions when details are unclear, learning from feedback.
• Help build a culture of excellence in product and engineering.
