Rippling is hiring a Software Engineer II for Backend Full Stack within the IT Product team. You will work on mission-critical IT management software, building and unifying device management, app provisioning, inventory, and security across the stack.

In this role, you’ll design robust backend services, contribute to frontend work with React/TypeScript, and own features end-to-end. A dynamic, collaborative environment and a pathway toward broader impact await.

Qualifications

• ,2+ years of professional experience in full-stack development; capable of end-to-end delivery.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and switch context between frontend and backend.
• Excellent skills in communicating technical trade-offs across the stack to both frontend and backend partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features with emphasis on backend logic, API development, and data integrity, while contributing to frontend implementation.
• Work across the stack focusing on API design, event modeling, and robust data management with a seamless UI connection.
• Own the full development lifecycle for features, ensuring backend architecture supports reliable functionality and frontend performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand requirements, refine technical scope, and drive delivery.
