Job summary

ELEVI is seeking a Mid Level Software Engineer in Laurel, MD to participate in all phases of the software lifecycle, with emphasis on design, development, testing and documentation.

Requirements include eight years of experience, a CS/CE/IS degree or equivalent, OO and scripting languages, DevOps with AWS and Docker, and a CI Poly clearance. The role offers hybrid work and opportunities across Federal and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in application design and development with backend databases.
• BS in CS/CE/IS or related discipline; MS may substitute for experience.
• Four years in OO and scripting languages (JavaScript, C++, Perl, Python, Ruby) desirable.
• Two years leading teams on small to mid-size software projects.
• Experience writing code and performing DevOps with AWS and Docker.
• Must hold a CI Poly Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle from requirements to test.
• Review, analyze, and modify software, document changes, and install applications.
• Mentor junior team members and guide users on requirements feasibility.
• Support system admins during installations and provide training materials.
