Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong API design, database architecture, and distributed systems knowledge.
• Proficiency in Typescript/Node and relevant backend frameworks.
• Frontend exposure and React familiarity.
• Excellent communication and ownership mindset.
• Startup environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable services and APIs for web applications.
• Architect and maintain robust backend systems and data models.
• Analyze product requirements and deliver production-ready code.
• Maintain health of systems, refactor and improve codebase.
• Contribute to frontend code when needed to ship features end-to-end.
• Take ownership of work and ensure accountability at all steps.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to improve UX.
• Write clear specs to ensure code quality for deployment.
• Drive large releases to production on a CD cadence.
