Temporal, a fully remote company, seeks a Senior Engineer to design, build, and maintain major backend components for Nexus, their durable execution platform. You will contribute across async processing and multi-tenant orchestration within a collaborative Compute and AI org.

The role emphasizes implementing scalable backend features, ensuring test coverage, and documenting design decisions to enable smooth deployment and operation across on-premise and dedicated cloud offerings.

Formación

• 6+ years of production experience building scalable distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts including multi-threading and concurrency.
• Experience developing customer-facing APIs and frameworks.
• Proficient in Go or Java or similar languages with high-end proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement core backend service features for Nexus.
• Provide unit, integration, and performance test coverage for your feature ownership area.
• Document design choices and operational knowledge for deployment and run of services.
• Provide service level logs, metrics, alerts, dashboards, and runbooks for production.
