HTC Global Services is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer in Dearborn, MI to design, build, and operate high-throughput backend systems that ingest and process large data volumes. You will work on distributed systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and API development in an Agile environment.

The role emphasizes real-time and batch data pipelines, data access optimization, and observability practices, with a focus on security and data privacy throughout the stack.

Competenze

• 7+ years of IT experience required.
• 5+ years software development experience.
• Experience deploying on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with large-scale data processing and big data tools.
• Experience creating or integrating RESTful or gRPC APIs.

Mansioni

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs.
• Build real-time and batch data pipelines for high-volume streams.
• Optimize data access layers across storage technologies.
• Design queries, views, and data patterns for analytics reports.
• Implement data aggregation and enrichment for outputs.
• Ensure schema evolution and backward compatibility.
• Integrate services with cloud-native infra including serverless and containers.
• Apply observability with logging, tracing, and metrics.
