Job summary

CaseGuard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead backend development, owning REST APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure. You will work with ASP.NET Core, AWS, and large-scale processing workers, delivering end-to-end features with strong focus on security and reliability.

You will collaborate with frontend teams and contribute to architecture, standards, and engineering growth in a hybrid workspace with ownership and impact across the backend stack.

Qualifications

• 6+ years delivering backend systems end-to-end.
• Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with AWS services and scalable systems.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and performance optimization.
• Understanding of asynchronous processing and distributed systems.
• Security-conscious mindset for sensitive data.
• Ability to collaborate with a hybrid team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable REST APIs and microservices.
• Own backend domains end-to-end from design to production.
• Design and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC.
• Support real-time collaboration features and high-scale processing.
• Optimize performance and ensure reliability under load.
• Mentor engineers and participate in architectural discussions.
