Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced backend engineer to help design and build revenue-focused products within the Revenue and Financial Automation (RFA) organization. You will work across services and layers, write high-quality code in Go/Java/C/C++, and ship features that power Stripe’s Billing and subscriptions globally.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, design, and operations teams, mentor engineers, and tackle production issues, contributing to scalable, reliable systems for

Qualifications

• 5–12+ years of experience in backend or platform software development.
• Ability to write high-quality code (in programming languages like Go, Java, C/C++, etc.)
• Hands‑on experience contributing to or building large-scale distributed systems
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across work streams within your team and contribute to your peers’ success
• Ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility, with an entrepreneurial mindset
