Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in TypeScript, Python, or C#. You will build high-performance backend services for millions of users and own features from design through deployment.

You'll design REST/GraphQL APIs, model data across relational and NoSQL stores, and ensure code is clean, tested, and observable. Remote, autonomous work in a fast-paced environment with strong emphasis on architectural judgment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and versioning REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Strong system-design instincts: data modeling and component architecture.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Build production backend services end-to-end in TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Design, build, and version REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Make architecture decisions around data modeling and service boundaries.
• Model and query data across relational and NoSQL stores.
• Write clean, well-tested code and ensure observability in live systems.
