Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise apps using .NET Core and Python, focusing on web, backend, API, and microservices.

You will build scalable Azure-based services, work with SQL Server/Azure SQL, implement REST APIs, and collaborate with architects, product teams, QA, and DevOps to ensure secure, reliable software in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with .NET and .NET Core.
• 4+ years of Python application development experience in web/backend/API/microservices.
• 4+ years of Azure-based microservices and cloud-native development.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server and/or Azure SQL, including queries and stored procedures.
• 5+ years of hands-on Azure DevOps experience: repos, work items, CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong proficiency with Git, REST APIs, and distributed architectures.
• Solid understanding of OO design, software engineering principles, and patterns.
• Proven debugging, troubleshooting, and production-support skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise apps using .NET Core and Python.
• Build scalable backend services, REST APIs, web services, and microservices.
• Develop and support Azure-based microservices and cloud-native apps.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs across applications and platforms.
• Work with SQL Server/Azure SQL for data access and optimization.
• Contribute to architecture, design, peer reviews, and best practices.
• Develop unit tests, automated tests, and ensure code quality.
• Use Azure DevOps and Git for version control, CI, and releases.
• Collaborate with architects, product teams, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement.
