SplitMetrics is seeking a senior data engineer to build scalable, high-load systems in Python and manage big data processing across hundreds of millions of records daily. You will design integrations behind a unified data model and API, and ensure data quality across channels.

You bring 5+ years in Python and SQL, experience with PostgreSQL, microservices, and ETL/ELT pipelines. The role offers a remote-first environment with conferences, courses, and flexible time off.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience with Python and strong SQL skills.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and building microservices-based solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, high-load systems in Python and process large data sets (~200M records/day).
• Design and develop integrations with external channels behind a unified data model and API.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across channels through validation, reconciliation, and monitoring.
