Job summary

RZR Global Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Software Engineer (Backend) to join the core engineering team. You will help build the real-time bidding engine that processes millions of bid requests per second with sub-100ms latency.

Work alongside data scientists, infra engineers, and product stakeholders in a hybrid setting. You will own features end-to-end and contribute to architecture, scalability, and reliability.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years backend development experience in low-latency or distributed environments.
  • Proficiency in Rust, C++, Go, or Java with production experience.
  • Strong knowledge of multithreading, memory management and network I/O.
  • Experience with distributed systems (queues, sharding, replication, failover).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and containerized deployment (Docker/Kubernetes a plus).
  • Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services for real-time bidding.
  • Build and optimize distributed systems with millions of queries per second.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to deploy ML models.
  • Improve scalability, observability, and fault tolerance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and performance debugging.
