Job summary

Taboola, a leading performance-driven advertising company, invites a Senior Software Engineer to join the Dynamic Creative Optimization team. You will design and build highly scalable backend services powering one of Taboola’s revenue-driving platforms and own end-to-end features from architecture to deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Production systems design for large-scale distributed environments.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL experience.
• Understanding of APIs, web architectures, and scalable system design.
• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services handling high TPS.
• Own features end-to-end from architecture to deployment and monitoring.
• Process hundreds of thousands of requests per second and TBs of data daily.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on distributed systems challenges.
• Develop platforms improving real-time decision-making and marketplace performance.
• Maintain monitoring and alerting to prevent user-impact issues.
