Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Sr Software Engineer for a PLM Platform. This remote role (US/Canada) is an independent contractor position offering a pay rate of $68–72/hour on a 1099/C2C basis.

You will build and operate backend services connecting PLM with ERP, analytics, ECAD, and other systems, owning architecture, coding, CI/CD, and production support. The ideal candidate will have 11+ years in backend software, strong C#/.NET experience, cloud-native skills (Azure), and hands-on Kubernetes

Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience in backend software development and production support.
• Strong backend development expertise, with preference for C#/.NET frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or Kotlin if willing to work in C#/.NET.
• Cloud-native engineering with Microsoft Azure preferred.
• AWS or GCP experience is acceptable.
• Hands-on with containers and Kubernetes, including troubleshooting.
• Strong API and enterprise integration experience (REST, OAuth 2.0, OIDC).
• IaC and CI/CD ownership using tools like Terraform, Bicep, ARM, and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate backend services and integrations for PLM platform.
• Own end-to-end solutions from architecture to production support.
• Lead CI/CD, Kubernetes deployment, and observability.
• Develop and maintain APIs, data models, and integrations with ERP/analytics.
