Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Sr Software Engineer for a PLM Platform. This remote US/Canada contractor role focuses on backend services, integrations, and automation that link PLM with ERP, analytics, and ECAD systems.

You will own end-to-end delivery from design to production, including CI/CD, Kubernetes, and observability. The ideal candidate has 11+ years in backend development, strong C#/NET skills, Azure and containerized environments, and deep API/integration experience.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience building and supporting production backend software.
• Strong backend development expertise; C#/NET preferred.
• Java/Go/Kotlin acceptable if working in C#/.NET.
• Cloud-native engineering experience, preferably Azure.
• AWS or GCP experience acceptable.
• Containers and Kubernetes with real-world troubleshooting.
• Strong API and enterprise-integration experience: REST APIs, pagination, retries, idempotency, partial failures.
• OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect/OIDC.
• Relational and document data modeling knowledge.
• IaC and CI/CD ownership; Bicep/Terraform/ARM/Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Solid design patterns & SOLID; automated testing and telemetry.
• Excellent written communication for design notes/runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate backend services, integrations, automation, and extensions that connect PLM with ERP, analytics, ECAD and other systems.
• Own end-to-end solutions from architecture and coding through CI/CD, Kubernetes deployment, observability and production support.
