Expedia Group is seeking a Software Development Engineer III for the Consumer Payments team within Expedia Global Payments. You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend payment services that support our global travel platform and ensure secure data handling and compliance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply modern engineering practices, and contribute to system reliability and innovation in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years backend software development with cloud-scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and Agile development.
