Job summary

Qualifications
- Strong Python development experience in production systems.
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale web apps.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineers across distributed teams.
- Security-conscious approach to design and implementation.
- Familiarity with Ubuntu deployment and packaging workflows.
Responsibilities
- Influence design, architecture and feature decisions across distributed teams.
- Craft API-first Python code with unit tests for scalable systems.
- Diagnose and fix complex technical challenges improving performance.
- Mentor engineers and lead code reviews to uphold best practices.
- Travel internationally 2–4 times a year for key discussions and events.
