Job summary

Constructor.io is seeking a backend engineer to maintain and scale production services written in Python. You will work on data-heavy systems handling analytics, metrics, and logging, and collaborate with product and data teams across a fully remote setup.

We value ownership, tests, and incremental delivery; you’ll implement monitoring and alerting, review code, and ship reliable software. Compensation includes base salary and stock options, plus generous benefits and remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building and owning production backend services in Python.
• Strong SQL skills and confidence working with data-heavy systems (analytics, metrics, logging).
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and debugging user-facing systems.
• Ability to ship maintainable software (tests, code review, incremental delivery).
• Nice-to-have: SEO fundamentals, APIs & auth (OAuth2, GA4) and working with non-structured data.
