Opinov8 is seeking a senior backend engineer to design, implement, and operate production web services that power AI-enabled platforms for a global client base. You’ll own the backend and help operationalize Python-based AI tools into Node.js and Python backends.

The role emphasizes scalable architectures, deep CS fundamentals, and collaboration with AI, product, and DevOps teams. You’ll advocate best practices, CI/CD, and robust APIs while communicating in English.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing, building, and operating production web services.
• Mastery of Computer Science fundamentals (Data structures, Algorithms, Complexity, Concurrency).
• Proficient with Node.js, TypeScript and at least one server framework (Express, NestJS).
• Experience creating and maintaining production-grade RESTful APIs, versioning, auth, rate limiting and pagination.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and maintain web services and APIs in Python/Node.js.
• Enforce coding standards for clean, concise, stable, and extensible code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with urgency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with AI, product owners, front-end, QA, DevOps, and external partners.
