We are seeking a senior backend engineer to own back-end services, design scalable architectures, and mentor the engineering team. This role emphasizes secure RESTful APIs, Agile delivery, and an engineering-forward culture with remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience developing web applications.
• 4+ years of experience with Node/TypeScript.
• Proven track record designing scalable architectures for high-performance web and mobile delivery.
• Ability to design and engineer secure RESTful APIs.
• Experience estimating and tracking tasks using Agile methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build back-end services and infrastructure essential to client products.
• Practice technical ownership and promote best practices in coding and architecture.
• Collaborate with and mentor other members of the engineering team.
