Job summary

TechSearch is seeking senior backend engineers for a Series C, AI-native platform that streamlines how businesses trade with partners. This role is fully remote across the US and Canada.

You will own end-to-end design of a major platform area, build high-volume event-driven systems with Kafka and RabbitMQ, and mentor engineers while aligning with product goals. The team supports reliability and scale with real enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in backend engineering and ownership of system design.
• Expert in Node.js and TypeScript with hands-on experience in event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Kafka and RabbitMQ in production systems.
• Shipped production work with AI-enabled tooling or similar.
• Customer-focused mindset with product collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of a major part of the platform, end to end
• Build high-volume, event-driven systems on Kafka and RabbitMQ that have to be right every time
• Lead technical design on big projects and plan for scale and reliability from the start
• Mentor engineers and work closely with product on what gets built
