Job summary

Concept Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a DoW-facing team building and modernizing mission-critical web applications. You will develop backend services in Node.js or Go, work with React/TypeScript front-ends, PostgreSQL, and deploy containerized apps in cloud environments.

You will participate in on-call rotations, implement security patches, maintain runbooks, and ensure reliable releases under change control.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional backend software engineering experience, including at least 3 years of production experience with Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) or Go (Golang).
• Strong experience developing and maintaining REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience operating and supporting production applications in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of formal change control processes and privileged-access security requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production issues, implement fixes, and support application releases.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain high-volume, public-facing applications.
• Support containerized deployments in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production availability.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and sustainment procedures.
• Identify and remediate security findings and address vulnerabilities.
