Job summary

Concept Solutions LLC is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build, modernize, and sustain mission-critical applications for a DoW customer. You will focus on backend services in Node.js or Go, supported by React/TypeScript front-ends and PostgreSQL, with cloud deployments and on-call support.

Security, reliability, and scalable design are essential. The role requires 7+ years in backend development, production experience with Node.js or Go, and familiarity with AWS GovCloud and identity

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience, including 3+ years with Node.js or Go in production.
• Hands-on SQL and PostgreSQL experience for data persistence and reporting.
• Experience operating and supporting production applications in cloud environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and support releases in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with React and TypeScript in front-end integration scenarios.
• Experience in AWS GovCloud environments and identity provider integrations (OIDC/SAML).
• Current eligibility for security clearance (Tier 5 investigation or Top Secret).

Responsibilities

• Sustain and enhance high-volume, public-facing web applications with security patches and releases.
• Develop and maintain backend services in Node.js and Go; collaborate with React/TypeScript front-ends and PostgreSQL.
• Support containerized deployments in cloud environments and run on-call rotations for production support.
• Integrate applications with identity providers and shared platform services for secure functionality.
• Maintain runbooks, documentation, and sustainment procedures; address vulnerabilities and dependences.
