Job summary

Snoonu is seeking an accomplished Backend Engineer to design and implement scalable services using .NET Core 8. You will optimize PostgreSQL, MongoDB and DynamoDB data models, and integrate with RabbitMQ for asynchronous messaging.

You will participate in architecture discussions, review code, and contribute to refactoring efforts to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability. Remote-friendly role with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend development experience.
• 5+ years with .NET Core.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with asynchronous distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services with .NET Core 8.
• Optimize database performance across PostgreSQL, MongoDB and DynamoDB.
• Participate in system design discussions for scalability and maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews to enforce coding standards and improve quality.
• Refactor existing codebases for better structure and readability.
• Write unit and integration tests with high coverage.
• Troubleshoot production and development issues.
• Document technical decisions, systems and processes for knowledge sharing.
• Assist in deployments and post-release validation.
