Job summary

Snoonu in a globally distributed, customer-obsessed universe seeks an experienced backend engineer to design and build scalable services using .NET Core 8. You will optimize data models in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB, review code, and help drive architectural improvements.

You’ll lead large projects, mentor juniors, write tests, participate in deployments, and document decisions to share knowledge across a remote, worldwide team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend development experience with 5+ years working specifically with .NET Core
• Proficiency in RESTful services and gRPC design for scalable architectures
• Expertise in PostgreSQL, MongoDB and DynamoDB data modeling and optimization
• Experience with asynchronous operations, distributed systems, and message brokers like RabbitMQ
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and refactoring techniques
• Experience in unit, integration, and performance testing
• Ability to lead large-scale projects and mentor junior developers
• Familiarity with load testing and performance tuning
• Willingness to participate in architecture discussions and code reviews
• Experience with diagramming or collaboration tools like Miro

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services using .NET Core 8 while integrating with system components
• Optimize database performance through efficient data models in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB
• Participate in system design discussions for scalability and maintainability
• Conduct code reviews to enforce coding standards and improve team performance
• Implement refactoring to improve codebases for readability and efficiency
• Write unit and integration tests with high coverage
• Troubleshoot and debug complex production and development issues
• Document key decisions and architectures to support future development
• Participate in production deployments and post-release validation
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth
