Job summary

Confiz Limited is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend expertise and MS SQL Server proficiency. You will design, build, and support scalable enterprise systems, owning cross-team initiatives and guiding architecture and performance decisions.

Beyond MS SQL, experience with Java/Spring Boot, AWS, Kubernetes/Docker, Kafka, microservices, CI/CD, and modern infra practices is highly valued. Hybrid role in Seattle with onsite 4 days/week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong MS SQL Server/SQL development experience and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and microservices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise backend systems with integrations in mind.
• Own technical designs spanning multiple teams and timelines.
• Lead design reviews and break work into actionable tasks.
• Develop scalable services and APIs using Java/Spring Boot.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, observability, and testing.
