Job summary

Ishpi Information Technologies, Inc. (ISHPI) is seeking a Principal Backend Software Engineer to lead the design and development of robust backend systems for government and business solutions. The role requires extensive experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI), and API design for microservices.

U.S. citizenship and an active government clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum five (5) years of Principal-level experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated, hands-on experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
