Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development focusing on distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of CAP theorem, consistency, concurrency, and fault tolerance.
• Proficiency in one of more languages: C#, Go, Rust, Java, C++, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, reliable distributed systems, including microservices, queues, distributed databases, and cloud solutions.
• Write high-quality code with unit and integration tests.
• Develop backend systems for seamless operation of services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex distributed-system issues.
• Optimize performance, reduce latency, maximize throughput.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and researchers.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote learning.
• Participate in code reviews and design sessions.
• Advocate for best practices across the SDLC.
