RecargaPay is building the financial super-app for Latin America, and the Lending squad seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own backend systems powering credit products. You will handle risk decisioning and the loan lifecycle with emphasis on correctness, resilience, and security.

Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience in Java and Spring.
• Solid AWS experience designing and operating distributed services in the cloud.
• Clear, direct communication to explain technical positions to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience building reliable and secure systems in financial services or regulated domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services that support the full credit journey — origination, analysis, disbursement, and repayment.
• Contribute to risk-aware system design and build controls to protect customers and business.
• Write production-grade Java/Spring services on AWS with emphasis on observability, fault tolerance, and security.
• Collaborate with product, data, and risk teams to translate business requirements into reliable software.
• Mentor peers through code reviews and technical discussions.
