Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building backend applications.
• Senior-level with Java, Python, Kotlin, Go, or Scala.
• Experience with SaaS/PaaS/IaaS and public cloud offerings (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Fluency in at least one database technology (RDBMS or NoSQL).
• Experience building scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of agile software development (XP, Scrum).
• Mentoring engineers and influencing decisions.
• Customer impact considerations in technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive large, complex projects from design to launch autonomously.
• Tackle architecture challenges and apply standards in new projects.
• Lead code reviews and high-risk bug fixes; mentor juniors.
• Collaborate across engineering teams on company-wide initiatives.
• Transfer depth of knowledge to excel as a Java developer.
