Fanatics is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable systems powering Fanatics Core. You will work across the Fanatics App and related platforms, delivering reliable services and collaborating with product and engineering teams to drive customer value.

The role emphasizes mentoring, on-call responsibilities, and contributing to architecture decisions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Travel to Fanatics offices and events may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Five+ years building scalable backend distributed systems, with Spring + Kotlin and/or Java as a plus.
• Experience driving backend best practices and mentoring others in design and coding patterns.
• Familiarity with observability in distributed systems (logging, tracing, monitoring).
